Three Top Financial Tips for Students
June 23, 2017There are a number of remarkable smartphones already on the market this year. The LG G6 and Samsung GALAXY S8 are leading the charge among other flagship phones with their bigger, nearly-borderless screens, and a long list of features. Asus’s latest Zenfone Zoom and the HTC U11 are also offering unique sets of features, including capable cameras and bigger batteries.
Waiting for some of the upcoming smartphones before making your purchase, however, is still something worth doing. There are several interesting phones scheduled to be released in the coming weeks. We are going to review the best of these new phones in this article.
The OnePlus 5
The OnePlus 5 is, perhaps, the most interesting upcoming phone of them all, not only because of the leaks we’ve seen so far but also because of its potential price. OnePlus flagship phones have always been more affordable than the equivalent rival phones, so expect the OnePlus 5 to take the same pricing approach, albeit with a higher price compared to the OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus 5 is also an interesting phone for students. If you’re taking an online course such as the online MHA program from ADU Online, the 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM options offered by the OnePlus 5 is an appealing offering. Multitasking and switching between the online MHA course materials, course assignments, and other apps on the phone will be a breeze.
The OnePlus 5 is also expected to have a new dual-camera setup; this particular rumor was confirmed by the company’s launch invitation. The phone will be officially announced on June 20th, and it will be available on the market soon after.
The iPhone 8
Apple usually announces its new iPhone during the company’s September event, and this year is no different. A lot of analysts expected the company to release – or at least show a glimpse of – the new iPhone during the WWDC 2017, but Apple ended up launching new MacBooks, iMacs, and iPads instead.
The iPhone 8 is definitely worth the wait, especially if you’re thinking about picking up the iPhone 7. The new iPhone will bring a lot of features that the iPhone 7 failed to deliver, including a new design, a better screen, and an improved camera setup. We may also see Apple using an under-the-glass fingerprint scanner for the first time.
Motorola Moto Z2
The Moto Z was a handset that grabbed a lot of people’s attention with its modular design and add-ons. The Moto Z2, set to be announced in a few weeks, is looking to improve on the success of the first generation Z. You can expect to see more mods being introduced alongside the new handset too.
Moto Z2 will come in two versions like the original Moto Z, so those looking for phones with a smaller screen will certainly find the smaller, more compact Moto Z2 Play to be interesting. More details about these new phones and other Moto smartphones that will be announced at the same time should be available as we get closer to the official event.
