Christele Nicolas-Parham is a visionary leader dedicated to creating safe spaces for the community through technology and innovation.

With a background in human-centered design and a passion for community empowerment, Christele curates processes for various initiatives at the intersection of healthcare and social impact. In addition to her extensive community involvement, Christele has co-founded Macon Black Tech with her husband Ariane Parham

The millennial couple spearheads ecosystem-building efforts and provides tech and innovation resources through programming and strategic partnerships. Christele combines her healthcare expertise with her entrepreneurial spirit to drive innovation and deliver impactful results.

They have also acquired a spacious property in downtown Macon, with the vision to transform it in the New Year into a vibrant collaborative co-workspace called CrateX Labs.

UrbanGeekz: How has BIA supported you on a personal and/or professional level?

Christele Parham: On a personal level, BIA has been a source of inspiration and collaboration. The connections I’ve made within the BIA community have not only expanded my network but have also provided me with valuable insights and perspectives that have influenced my approach to entrepreneurship. The collaborative environment has allowed me to share my experiences and expertise while also learning from the diverse talents within the collective. Additionally, my involvement has allowed me to bring new members into the fold, further contributing to the growth and dynamism of the BIA community.

 

UrbanGeekz: What inspired you to start your business?

Christele Parham: As founders ourselves, we were simply looking for a safe space to grow and scale and we realized we weren’t the only ones. We built what we were looking for.

UrbanGeekz: Are there any milestones you have achieved that you would like to share?

Christele Parham: We are thrilled to announce the achievement of a significant milestone – the opening of crateX, a dynamic space located in the heart of Downtown Macon. This innovative hub is designed to bring together local entrepreneurs and digital nomads, providing a collaborative environment for creativity and productivity. The establishment of crateX marks a pivotal moment in our journey, reflecting our commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in the heart of Macon. We look forward to seeing this space catalyze collaboration, innovation, and the growth of the local business community.

UrbanGeekz: What’s next for your company that we should be on the lookout for?

Christele Parham: Absolutely, we are opening a space called CrateX Labs in January 2024.

Tinuoye currently sits on the SXSW Pitch Advisory Board and CES Conference Advisory Board. She is a key player in the Atlanta tech startup ecosystem and serves as a mentor for Comcast NBCUniversal’s The Farm Accelerator. Tinuoye has received several awards and accolades, including being honored with a Resolution from the Georgia Legislative.
