The iconic eatery has been in operation since 1947, marking over 70 years of service. It began operations in 1947 in the Vine City neighborhood of Atlanta, on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, where it found fertile ground for serving home-cooked dishes to customers with experience.

The operation began with Lucy Jackson, serving their traditional dishes, especially their signature fried chicken, which still tastes superb today. The restaurant has maintained this signature dish and plans to continue using the same ingredients and recipe that have brought them success today.
