Private equity firm GenNx360 Capital Partners has closed its fourth flagship fund with $865 million in commitments, surpassing its $600 million target.

Fund IV is the New York City-based firm’s largest fund to date and attracted commitments from existing and new investors, including pensions, asset managers, insurance companies, foundations, and family offices.

The firm will use the fund to continue investing in lower-middle-market industrial and business services companies, primarily partnering with founders and management teams to scale their businesses.

GenNx360 is Powering Lower-middle-market Companies

The New York City-based firm, founded in 2006 by  Ronald E. Blaylock, invests in U.S. lower-middle-market industrial services and business services companies. GenNx360 invests in companies with proven, sustainable business models in growing industries and large markets.

The firm pairs value-enhancing growth plans and operational improvements with rapid buy-and-build strategies to accelerate growth, drive efficiencies, and generate strong financial returns. Its focus sectors include infrastructure services, testing and inspection, aerospace and defense, automation and industrial technology, commercial services, and food services.

Fund IV has completed five investments so far in infrastructure services, testing and inspection, aerospace and defense, and IT services. The Fund marked strong early momentum in May 2026 with the successful exit of its initial investment, Precision Aviation Group.

“We are deeply grateful to our long-standing limited partners for their continued trust and partnership, and we are pleased to welcome our new investors to the GenNx360 platform,” said Ron Blaylock, Founder of GenNx360.

“Fund IV reflects confidence in our team, our strategy, and the model we have built over nearly two decades of investing in founder- and management-led businesses. We remain focused on being thoughtful stewards of capital, strong partners to management teams, and disciplined builders of enduring companies.”

“The value our investment approach creates from sourcing to exit is demonstrated by the fact that across our funds we have realized over $1.3 billion in the last 12 months and in excess of $2 billion over the last 2.5 years for our investors,” Monty Yort, Managing Partner at GenNx360, said. “Our sector expertise, investment playbooks, and pipeline in our target markets position us well to build on this momentum in Fund IV and beyond.”

Fund IV Target Companies

The firm focuses on founder- and family-owned businesses, including companies taking institutional capital for the first time. According to GenNx360, most of its deals are partnerships with founders who want to grow their businesses and realize part of the value they’ve built while still protecting the company’s legacy.

The private equity firm’s target companies usually have $50 million to $500 million in annual revenue and $5 million to $35 million in EBITDA. GenNx360 looks at transactions in the $50 million to $500 million range, with equity checks typically between $25 million and $100 million.

The firm invests in fragmented markets where it sees opportunities to grow companies through organic expansion, add-on acquisitions, and operational upgrades. An integrated team of investment and operating professionals backs this strategy. GenNx360 notes that its operating partners have more than 150 years of combined experience running industrial services firms, manufacturing operations, and global supply chains.

The operating team collaborates with investment professionals both before and after a deal, supporting due diligence, shaping the investment thesis, and carrying out growth initiatives. This Fund IV, which raised $865 million in commitments and has over $3 billion in capital under management, surpassed GenNx360‘s $600 million target, according to Shoppe Black.
