Render Atlanta Speakers

Render Atlanta, the southeast’s largest multicultural tech conference, is back bigger than ever and poised to begin its 2023 three-day extravaganza.

Featuring a diverse range of speakers across the tech and software engineering world, as well as good food, good vibes, and good music, Render(ATL) is redefining what a tech conference should be.

Kicking off on May 31 and running over three days until June 2, Render ATL’s program is bursting with talks, evening events and workshops. Increasing venue space from 24k feet to over 100k feet at the AmericasMart Atlanta, the conference has quadrupled in size for 2023.

Now in its third year, the conference features over 80 expert speakers from around the world, across four speciality tracks covering Design, Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Product & Product Management and Web & Mobile Software Engineering.

Speakers from the convention represent companies like Google, Spotify, Slack, Microsoft, Netflix and Amazon among others.

Championing the intersection of culture and technology, RenderATL will host Grammy award-winning artist Kaytranada as the headline of the week’s concert, with an emphasis on the power of technology and music to bring people together.

This year’s hosts include media personality and talk show host Anisa Breenee, executive producer and CEO Jahliel Thurman, tech recruiter and content creator Taylor Desseyn and tech career personality Cyrus Harbin.

Render ATL boasts the industry’s most technical and culturally diverse lineup of expert speakers. Attendees can expect star speakers such as Sarah Drasner, Director of Engineering at Google, Paola Mariselli, Director of Product Design at Bumble, and David Barrett, Founder and CEO of Expensify.

Other speakers include our very own Kunbi Tinuoye, founder and CEO of UrbanGeekz; Kimberly Bryant, founder of Black Girls Code; Sherell Dorsey, CEO/publisher, The Plug, Ryan Wilson, CEO/Founder at The Gathering Spot, and Mark Techson, Sr Developer Relations Engineer at Google.

As part of its commitment to inclusion and innovation, RenderATL invites female founders, technologists and entrepreneurs to celebrate innovation, with special spaces for female founders and technologists to share stories, build relationships and show up for one another.

Founder and CEO of RenderATLJustin E. Samuels, discusses how he and his team “started Render ATL for and by software engineers with the intent of having the most interactive and cultural experiences within a space that was void of such.” Since its conception, the conference has had an impact “beyond the conference halls and spilled out into the culturally rich and historic avenues within the City of Atlanta, “adds Samuels, a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Mailchimp

Sponsored by the likes of Netflix and Spotify as well as online real estate magnate Zillow, and security software platform SafeStack, the conference brings together some of the hottest brands using tech in the US

Render ATL’s third instalment coincides with Atlanta Tech Week, week-long events and activations with tech partners across the metro Atlanta area.
